While some couples wish to organise all aspects of their wedding themselves, busy modern lifes sometimes mean that assistance with planning and arranging such a major and significant event is very welcome. For this reason, The Reid Rooms are pleased to offer the services of our experienced Wedding Coordinator, Mary Briscoe, to plan a wedding package unique to you. The personal, flexible service we offer is aimed at meeting your individual requirements, while giving you the benefit of our years of experience in arranging wedding and events of all sizes.

Wedding Package Prices 2008

Prices are variable according to guest numbers and the menu chosen. As an example a 2008 wedding package based on 60 day guests and a further 60 evening guests would cost £4,105.00, plus the venue charge. (A minimum number of 40 day guests is applicable, less than 40 would incur a supplement).

The wedding package comprises:

• Exclusive use of venue, ceremony room and grounds (9.30am - 1.00am);
• Complete drinks package comprising reception drinks (Bucks Fizz & Pimms), red and white wine throughout the wedding breakfast, selection of soft drinks throughout the day and a glass of champagne for the toast;
• Three course Wedding Breakfast;
• Silver Service Waiting staff;
• Jugs of iced water on tables;
• All table linen & napkins;
• Tea & Coffee (after meal and late evening);
• Evening Finger Buffet;
• DJ Entertainment for evening party;
• Licensed staffed pay bar until midnight;
• Co-ordinator from The Reid Rooms;
• Bridal Suite for preparation for wedding and overnight (Exclusive use of on-site Farmhouse accommodation for guests is available as an extra);
• Floral arrangements throughout the venue (except table decorations);
• All service charges and VAT.

Please note that for wedding packages a non-refundable deposit (see Wedding Hire Prices) is required to secure the venue booking with the outstanding balance due for payment 12 weeks before the event. In the event of cancellation, notification must be given in writing by the hirer and confirmed in writing by The Reid Rooms. However, in the event of a late cancellation (ie during the period up to 14 weeks prior to the booking) then we reserve the right to recover 60% of the hire charge. Separate cheques will be required for the caterer, DJ and the balance of the package. We will provide you with a detailed breakdown of charges to facilitate this.
